Short biosketch

Yoann Altmann

Yoann Altmann was born in Toulouse, France, in 1987. He received the Eng. degree in electrical engineering from the ENSEEIHT, Toulouse, France, and the M.Sc. degree in Signal Processing from the National Polytechnic Institute of Toulouse, both in June 2010. He achieved is Ph.D. within the Signal and Communication Group of the IRIT Laboratory and received the Ph.D. degree from the INP Toulouse in 2013. Since 2014, he has been with the Heriot-Watt University, Edinburgh as post-doctoral researcher. He conducts his research within the Institute of Sensors, Signals and Systems in the School of Engineering and Physical Sciences. His current research activities focus on statistical signal and image processing, with a particular interest in Bayesian inverse problems with applications to remote sensing and biomedical imaging.
